Our mission & vision
We believe a strong neighbourhood starts with meeting each other. FAB28 wants to reduce loneliness, let talents grow and keep the threshold for help and participation as low as possible. Meet, develop, grow — that is what we work on every day.
What we do
We organise weekly activities, cook together, offer day activities and rent out our rooms to the neighbourhood. Through Jumpstart we help people on their way to volunteering or paid work. All under one roof, in the middle of the neighbourhood.
Our team
FAB28 runs on a small core team and a large group of volunteers from the neighbourhood. Together we keep the door open, the coffee warm and make sure no one falls through the cracks.
Our partners
We work closely with the municipality of Eindhoven, welfare organisations, care providers and local entrepreneurs. Want to collaborate? Feel free to get in touch.
About Jumpstart
Jumpstart is FAB28's development programme. For anyone who wants to get going (again) but still finds the step to work or school a big one. At Jumpstart you take part in the real life of the neighbourhood centre: in the kitchen, behind the bar, doing odd jobs or helping organise.
Who it's for
For young people and adults at a distance from work or school, for example due to circumstances at home, health or a difficult period. A referral is not always needed — feel free to come and meet us first.
Our goals
More confidence, a healthy daily rhythm, new skills and eventually a fitting next step: volunteering, education or paid work. Every pace counts.
